Road Trip Part 2

I am finally getting around to writing about the second part of our Road Trip.
These photos are of a quilt shop called Corn Wagon Quilt Co. Located in Springville Utah. The exact address is 303 East 400 South. Marsha Harward is the owner of this beautiful shop. They have a very spacious building and a nice selection of fabric (I was looking for an old Kaffe and thought it was LONG gone, but I found it here and my friend Ann & I ended up buying the rest of the bolt).
This is also where I fell in LOVE with Minick & Simpson's new fabric line called Prairie Paisley. I bought a ton of it. Especially fell in love with the plaids. Which is what caused this whole fabric commotion in the first place (see story below).
Ok, here goes the whole ordeal oops, I mean story. I bought 2-1/2 yds of this one "perfect plaid" just because I loved it SO much (didn't know what I was going to do with it but it was a must have). I came home, designed, cut, sewed and yee-ha, one week later the quilt was good to go to the quilter but I still hadn't found a use for the 2-1/2 yds. of my "perfect plaid". I finally decided it was the perfect back, but...I only had half of what I needed and I had to go on a quest to find the other half. I called and looked ALL OVER THIS VALLEY and no one had gotten "the perfect plaid" that I had to have to finish the back. Needles to say, I called down to Corn Wagon, and they held the bolt for me!! How cool is that?! I took another trip back down there to get it, took the fabric to Wendy at Eagle Mountain Quilting (she is awesome), sewed it together ON HER MACHINE and left her the quilt (which is now done)!!
I will have to make the trip back to Corn Wagon soon just because her store is so pretty and the staff is very helpful. Thanks Marsha for saving me!
Have a great day!
Mary

What a cute store! Can't wait to see what you've come up with. See you at market.

I love cornwagon. I don't get to that end of the valley enough, I'm in Alpine so I frequent Broadbents and Quilting Cottage mostly but when I get down that way I stop in springville and payson, too.

I've been there several times! I'm from So Cal, but have a good friend that lives in Spanish Fork. They hold their guild meetings at Corn Wagon. Great little shop!
