I know all of you MUST be on the edge of your seat just wondering if I really was a stripper in some former life. So here goes..... (that's a drum roll).
Here are my 2 truths and one lie for those of you who don't remember
1). I once flew an airplane
2). I once had a job as a stripper
3). I once sang on the radio
#1. No, I have never been at the controls of a commercial airplane in the cockpit doing the actual the flying. I have been a passenger on many an airplane, but have not actually "flown the plane".
#2. Yes, I was a stripper (Hey, I was young and I needed the money). BUT you have to think of it in printing terms. I worked in a small print shop and "stripping" was just one of my many tasks. I found this cool explanation on "How Things Work" about the printing process that I thought I would share with you... "Each of the primary colors -- black, cyan (blue), magenta (red), and yellow -- has a separate plate. Even though you see many, many colors in the finished product, only these four colors are used so the color negatives are "stripped" together for each page".
#3. Yes, I did some singing on the radio (and for anyone who knows me and my singing ability, that is a horrifying thought). The song I chose to sing was our own family rendition of our rival's fight song. Hey, it was rivalry week and I just got carried away - but I did win Sportsman Outdoor Expo tickets!
Hope you all enjoyed this fun little game. My friend Meggan, who is a teacher, told me that she plays this with her students on the first night of class. She said it's always interesting to learn more about people that way.
Well, the weather here sucks today. It's gloomy and snowing so I am going down to my quilt room where 29 baskets are calling my name.
Hope you all have a FANTASTIC day!
Happy Sewing
