I am SO SUPER excited to announce my giveaway!!!!

Here are the rules:

for those of you who are going to market...

1). First of all, I have 5 quilts going to market BUT I am not (sniff sniff). I would really LOVE to see these quilts in their natural habitat so..... I want you to find them for me, snap a picture of each quilt and post them on your blog. There are 3 in one booth.. 1 in another booth and 1 in another booth...

I will now give you guys some clues.

a). Three quilts are located in the booth of a fabric manufacturer whose name starts with the letter "M" (it's my favorite "four letter word").
b). One quilt can be found in another fabric manufacturer's booth. This fabric manufacturer's name starts with the letter "L" . Brenda Riddle has "Anew" line with them.
c). The last quilt is in the booth of still another fabric manufacturer with a two word name starting with the letters "R" & "B" - these guys have Utah ties... This should help you!!!

2). THE FIRST 4 PEOPLE WHO POST PICTURES OF THESE QUILTS ON THEIR BLOG, AND LEAVE ME A COMMENT WILL EACH RECEIVE A SET (4) OF MY NEW SPRING COLLECTION OF PATTERNS (one quilt is a duplicate - same quilt in 2 different booths) YAY!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!??

Never a Dull Moment Around Here Folks!

Yes!!! I feel the relief that can only accompany the last quilt being delivered to the fabric manufacturer who will take it to market for their booth!!!! I am officially DONE!!! What an awesome feeling!!! After I left their warehouse, I did the victory dance in the parking lot!

But, I must tell you of the experience I had while photographing these quilts...
It all started a couple of weeks ago when I completed 4 of the 5 quilts. I decided to go shoot them on a Sunday at Wheeler Farms - for all of you non Utah folk, Wheeler Farms is a farm with cows, chickens, ducks, geese, goats... you get the idea.


This was the loud goose that scared me!




Well, on that particular Sunday as we braved the windy drizzle, we (me and my trusty quilt models) were greeted (read terrorized) by territorial geese and amorous ducks . We were able to get the pictures taken between raindrops and wind gusts (and I think they turned out pretty darn good too). It was quite the day. I think photographing 13 two year olds on a sugar high would have been easier... or at least as much fun!



One more of the territorial geese - he looks like he is ready to charge us.
