I love the shelves for storage. I also store my fabric stash in plastic containers, which sometimes makes it hard to find what I need.
I am a follower of both blogs. I love those Ikea bookshelves. I have one too and am rearranging my sewing space and might put it sideways. that is one of the great things about this long unit, you can put it horizontal too.
